Read the full introduction
A mini PC is the right answer when the screen already exists and the desk cannot take a tower: a kiosk, a signage panel, a stock room, a reception station. This collection currently holds a single model, the Vidar Nano, which ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD.
It is quoted rather than priced. Vidar's listing carries a GB delivery restriction, so we cannot yet confirm a deliverable unit cost into the UK, and the detail page was restricted when captured — meaning the operating system, graphics, ports and dimensions are unconfirmed as well. If a mini PC is what you need, an enquiry gets you a written answer rather than an optimistic web figure.
Buying guidance
What separates these machines
- Confirm the operating system on the quote if you run a fixed image; Vidar does not publish one.
- 8 GB and 128 GB is the published configuration — plan external storage or a network share if you need more.
- No discrete graphics are published, so treat it as an office and kiosk machine.
- Ask about the GB supply route before planning an installation date.
- If you need a screen as well, the all-in-one category avoids the separate-monitor purchase.
Questions about mini pcs
Why is the only mini PC quoted on request?
Vidar's listing carries a GB delivery restriction and publishes no deliverable UK cost. Quoting is the honest option until a supply route is confirmed.
Can it be mounted behind a monitor?
Vidar does not publish a VESA mount or mounting kit for this model. Do not assume one; ask, and we will confirm what the chassis supports.
Is one model really the whole category?
Yes. Vidar's mini PC category contains one genuine mini PC; the other tiles are a laptop and a tablet promoted into it. We would rather show one honest product than pad the page.
What are the alternatives?
A 22-inch all-in-one if a screen is needed, or a Forge 9 tower if the work needs a discrete GPU. Both are in the desktop categories.
