The Vidar Triptych 16 carries three displays: a 16-inch 1920×1200 main panel and two 10.5-inch side screens that fold out from the lid. Instead of carrying a portable monitor and a stand, the whole multi-display setup travels as one laptop. It runs an Intel Core i7-1260P, a 12-core part from the 12th generation, with integrated Intel graphics.
This is a productivity machine rather than a gaming one. The point is windows: charts, order books and news on three surfaces, or an editor with documentation and a terminal either side. Memory runs to 64 GB and storage to 2 TB, Wi-Fi 6 is stated, and Windows 11 with a fingerprint reader is included.
At three panels, the trade-offs are real: it is a laptop that expects a desk, and brightness, refresh rate, battery, ports, weight and model code are unpublished. Vidar sells the same chassis under six titles and one product page here covers them all.
For work where three visible windows beat one fast window: trading, operations, development, security monitoring and control rooms.
The published specification lists the side panels by size only; touch is not stated for them. Treat the main display as the primary working surface and confirm touch on the side panels with the quote.
They fold out from the lid, which is how the machine closes into a single 16-inch footprint. Exact stow positions and hinge range are confirmed in writing.
It uses integrated Intel graphics on an i7-1260P. It is a productivity machine for multi-window work; the Vortex range is the gaming option.
Vidar lists memory to 64 GB and storage to 2 TB. Three displays plus a browser and a trading client benefit from 32 GB or more; 16 GB is the entry point.
